Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 September 2026. Short version: we do not collect personal data about you.
Who we are
Northgroveproject operates the website northgroveproject.com for visitors in Ireland. For questions about this policy or your data rights, write to privacy@northgroveproject.com.
What we collect
No accounts, no sign-up, no personal data forms. We do not ask for your name, email address, date of birth or payment details. We do not run advertising pixels, behavioural analytics or cross-site trackers.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser user agent — to keep the site running and secure. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used to build a profile of you.
- Game state. Your virtual coin balance in the browser game lives only in your page session and disappears when you close or reload the tab. It never reaches us.
- Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google servers and your IP address is visible to them. See Google's own privacy notice for details.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own — no analytics, advertising or preference cookies. Nothing on this site requires consent under the ePrivacy Regulations, which is why you will not see a cookie banner. External sites you open from our links (Google Play, support organisations) set their own cookies under their own policies.
Legal basis
Where technical log data qualifies as personal data under the GDPR, we rely on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in operating a secure, functioning website.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade data. The only third parties involved are our hosting provider (as a processor) and Google Fonts as described above. No data is used for marketing.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Because we hold no identifiable records about visitors, most requests will be answered with a confirmation that no data exists. You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Children
This site is intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly process any data relating to children. If you believe a child has contacted us, write to privacy@northgroveproject.com and we will delete the correspondence.
Changes
Any update to this policy is published on this page with a revised date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
